1970年代終盤から80年代初頭にかけて、エレキギターの革新的で、独特の文化性を持った時代があった。それはヴァン・ヘイレンの登場に単を発したムーブメントで、ダブルカット・ソリッドにフロイド・ローズ。必要最低限のハードウェアだけを搭載。そしてLAメタルの大流行では派手なペイントを施すといったものだ。世界的な流行は80年代までだったが、以後も小規模ながら何度か流行は繰り返している。今回、クレイマーから発売される「カスタム・グラフィック・コレクション」は、世界的な流行の中心だったクレイマーのバレッタとThe 84を基にしたモデル。様々なビジュアル・アーティストやクレイマーのルシアーとのコラボレーションによりデザインされた由緒あるモデル。今回は6モデルがラインナップしている。
高速シュレッダーのイメージしたというレインボー・レオパード・フィニッシュ。クレイマー・カスタム・グラフィック・アーティストのChris Stemmer氏がデザインした。
